Heavy blast hits ArcelorMittal plant in Belgium’s Ghent, 1 dead, 2 injured

A powerful blast shook a steel plant belonging to ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steelmaker, in Belgian port city of Ghent, local media reported on Monday.

As a result of the explosion in one of the facilities of the steel company, one person died and two others were seriously injured.

Toxic fumes have been released after the explosion, VTM News said.
