Kiev metro line was reopened Saturday after a bomb scare temporarily forced police to close five metro stations in the central part of the Ukrainian capital ahead of the UEFA Champions League final.

A metro operator said earlier that the stations were closed to passengers and checks were being carried out after receiving a threat.

Kiev is hosting the UEFA Champions League final later on Saturday in which Liverpool will play Real Madrid.
