5.1 magnitude earthquake shakes Greece's Rhodes


An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 shook Greece's Rhodes Island late Thursday.

The quake's epicenter was 61 kilometers (38 miles) south of Rhodes at a depth of 22 km (14 miles), according to Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).

The temblor was also felt in Turkey's southwestern Marmaris and Fethiye districts.

There were no initial reports of property damage or injuries.
