Having appeared in a number of films and musicals, multifaceted German actress and singer Ute Lemper will visit Turkey with her upcoming show "Last Tango in Berlin" at the Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall.This concert is a kind of best of Ute Lemper, featuring all musical chapters in her repertoire, but also full of open improvisations. Best known for her interpretation of Kurt Weill's music, Lemper grabbed attention when she appeared in Andrew Lloyd Webber's world-famous musical "Cats" in 1983. Four years later she won the Moliere Award for Best Newcomer for her role as Sally Bowles in the original Paris production of "Cabaret."In the 1990s, Lemper took part in various TV films and series. Her "Last Tango in Berlin" performance will begin with songs of Kurt Weill and Berthold Brecht and continue with the best examples from Berlin cabarets.
