Seven films debut this week in theaters


Vice Bruce Willis, Ambry Childers and Thomas Jane appear in lead roles. Written by Andre Fabrizio and Jeremy Passmore, this week's action movie "Vice" is directed by Brian A. Miller. Julian Michaels (Bruce Willis) has designed a holidaymaker resort "VICE." He creates artificial inhabitants that look, think and move like humans. When one of the artificial creatures, Kelly, becomes self-aware, he escapes. On the one side, there are Julian's customers and investors. On the other, there is Roy, a police officer who loathes Julian. Kelly finds herself between the two. Jurassic World Starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson, Jurassic World is one of this week's action and adventure movies. The American science fiction film is the fourth instalment of the legendary Jurassic Park film series. "Jurassic World" was produced by Steven Spielberg and directed by Colin Trevorrow. Twenty-two years after the Isla Nublar incident, Jurassic World stands as a fully-functioning dinosaur theme park. Although a new attraction is created to attract visitor's interest, things do not go as expected. SpyThe British-American action comedy film stars Melissa McCarthy, Jason Statham, Jude Law and Rose Byrne. Directed by Paul Feig, "Spy" features a desk-bound modest CIA analyst Susan Cooper (Melissa McCarthy), who is the unknown hero behind the risky spy jobs. When her partner (Jude Law) and the other favorite agent (Jason Statham) are compromised, she is asked to prevent a worldwide disaster and finds herself in the world of dangerous arms dealers. A Little Chaos The 2014 drama production portrays the life of a female landscape architecture (Kate Winslet), who suffers from class and gender discrimination at the time of Louis XIV of France. "A Little Chaos" stars Kate Winslet, Matthias Schoenaerts and Stanley Tucci. Appearing as King Louis, Alan Rickman was in the director's seat. Backcountry Missy Peregrym, Jeff Roop, Eric Balfour and Nicholas Campbell, Adam McDonald's movie "Backcountry" promises tension-filled scenes with its script adapted from real-life incidents. The horror-thriller depicts a young couple who go camping in the woods. They lose themselves and encounter a life-and-death struggle. Knight Rusty This week's animation film "Knight Rusty" presents a special knight, who embarks on an adventure to save a big magical kingdom and the strange incidents happen there. It was released in the U.S. last year. Barely Lethal The action-comedy movie "Barely Lethal" is directed by Kyle Newman. Mostly known for his roles in spy movies, Samuel L. Jackson appears as Hardman, who is responsible for the trainings of a young agent. In the lead roles, viewers will see young actress Hailee Steinfeld, who became popular with "True Grit," Sophie Turner from the Game of Thrones and accomplished actress Jessica Alba.
