Collective artwork from many countries exhibited in Istanbul

The "MEŞK VI" exhibition, which is organized at the start of Ramadan every year by the Küçükçekmece Municipality, is on display at the Cennet Culture and Art Center. The exhibition combines the arts of calligraphy, illumination, miniature, tile and marbling. The curator of the exhibition, Erkan Doğanay, underlines that the specially organized Ramadan exhibition is followed diligently by art lovers, which is why they will keep the exhibition open not only during Ramadan but from June to September. Doğanay said: "Until now, almost 50 countries around the world have joined in the exhibition. Important artists from Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Libya, Syria, Iraq, Iran and Bosnia-Herzegovina have participated in the exhibition. It is important for us to understand the traditions of other countries, their understandings of the world, their way of creating cultural works and their cultural backgrounds. At the same time, people living in Turkey who are interested in the aforementioned arts can come and get trained."When: Until August 25Where: Cennet Culture and Art Center
