Old rock star's life portrayed on silver screen


The 2015 American comedy drama "Danny Collins" was adapted for the big screen based on the real-life story of a famous middle-aged musician. Collins is an aging rock star who became famous in the 1970s. Having enjoyed all opportunities that life presented him, Collins left his crazy days behind. When his manager discovers a 40-year-old letter written to him by John Lennon, he decides to change his life and create one last composition. Now, he will compensate for all the things that he could not achieve in the past. He tries to strengthen his family ties while establishing a close relationship with a clerk at a hotel where he stays.
