Greek poet Yannis Ritsos inspires Turkish artists

Art ON Istanbul brings the works of artists who produce in different disciplines with its group exhibition titled "Our Wounds, Our Ballads." The title is derived from the famous Greek poet Yannis Ritsos's poem "Resemblance," and the exhibition refers to the structure of the exhibition. Art ON Istanbul, which hosted an exhibition focusing on the poems of eminent poet İlhan Berk last year, aims to reflect on various metaphors of daily life with a poetic touch by focusing on Ritsos' work for the first time in Turkey. Burak Bedenlier, Hera Büyüktaşçıyan, Canan Dağdelen, İpek Duben, Murat Germen, Serkan Taycan, Jochen Proehl and Johannes Wohnseifer are among the artists whose work is on display at the exhibition. When: Until Sept. 5Where: Art ON
