Scottish indie-pop band Belle and Sebastian will perform at Istanbul's Volkswagen Arena as part of the 25th Akbank Jazz Festival on Oct. 30. The critically acclaimed band was founded by Stuart Murdoch and Stuart David during their college years in 1996. Named after a French book about a boy and his dog, the septet has released nine albums so far. The Istanbul event's organizer described the show in a press release as compositions of "various emotions from happiness to sadness." American musician Cass McCombs will open for Belle and Sebastian.
