Colin Stetson and Sarah Neufeld to share Istanbul stage


Colin Stetson and Sarah Neufeld will share the stage tomorrow at the Istanbul Foundation for Arts and Culture (İKSV). Stetson has been involved in jazz-rock for a long while with his bands Transmission and People's Bizarre. He joined accomplished artists at the studio such as Tom Waits, Arcade Fire, Feist, Bon Iver, My Brightest Diamond, David Byrne, Sinead O'Connor, LCD Soundsystem, The National and Godspeed You! Black Emperor, recorded albums and went on tours with them. He released his first solo album, "New History Warfare Vol.1," in 2008. His first album was later followed by "Vol. 2: Judges" in 2011 and "Vol. 3: To See More Light" in 2013. His critically acclaimed albums were also nominated for the Polaris Music Awards. Neufeld was the constant element of Arcade Fire's "Neon Bible" and "The Suburbs." She was also a guest artist on the band's "Funeral" and "Reflektor" albums and the violinist of their world tours. Neufeld, who is also a member of Bell Orchestre, released her first solo album, "Hero Brother," in 2013.
