The 12th edition of Bach Days kicked off in Istanbul and is expanding to Ankara this year. The organization has become a staple music event in Europe and will host outstanding musicians performing Bach's compositions until Dec. 24. Jiri Barta opened the curtain for the 12th Bach Days on Dec. 19 at the Istanbul Naval Museum and the event continues to host many prominent classical musicians. Benjamin Alard has won various awards, including the International Competition Musica Antiqua, and one of the best-known clavichordists in the world. He will perform Bach's "Goldberg Variations." Those who do not want to miss this unique performance can watch Alard live on Dec. 24 at the Istanbul Naval Museum.
