Classics shine at İş Sanat this week


Kremerata BalticaWorldwide famous Latvian violinist Gidon Kremer will take the stage of İş Sanat with his orchestra which he founded in 1997 and has become one of the best international chamber orchestras in the world ever since. The orchestra will share the stage with pianist Khatia Buniatishvili who was granted the artist of year award by BBC. During the first half of the concert doyen violinist will play Mendelssohn violin concerto in Re minor later accompanied by Khatia Buniatishvili who will perform Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20 in Re minor during the second half of the event. When: Feb. 5, 8:30pmWhere: İş Sanat Performance HallShining stars at Milli ReasüransClarinet player Utku Çetin and violinist Irmak Ülke will be guests of Shining Stars series organized by İş Sanat at Millî Reasürans in order to provide stage experience to the young artists and support them on their first step towards the art world. At the free concert which will be held at 8.30pm on Feb. 8, Çetin will perform the works from Rossini, Baermann, Weber, Widor and Monti while Ülke will perform pieces from Çaykovski, Ysaye and Franck.
