Film depicts desperate woman's fight against bureaucracy

The 35th Istanbul Film Festival continues to screen the most-anticipated films of the season from around the world until April 17. After drawing attention worldwide with his first feature-length film "The Zone" and competing for the festival's Golden Tulip Award four years ago with "The Delay," director Rodrigo Pla returns to the "International Competition" section with his latest film "A Monster with a Thousand Heads." The film, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival, is about a desperate woman's struggle against the system.
