Famous Macedonian singer and songwriter Esma Redzepova will perform with The Folk Masters at Leyla Gencer Opera and Art Center to celebrate Hıdırellez – known as Ederlezi in Romani – on May 6. Hailing from a Roma background, Redzepova is often labeled as "Queen of the Gypsies" because of her role in promoting the culture of her community.
