The Modal Jazz Quartet aims to bring jazz together with Turkish classical and folk music. The primary aim is to contribute to the international recognition of Turkish music, which is a rich tradition with a vast repertoire, and introduce polyphony using traditional rhythm. All compositions and arrangements are by Nail Yavuzoğlu and he also performs on bass guitar.
