Organized for the first time by Istanbul Clarinet Association, the Istanbul Woodwind Festival will take place between June 29 and July 3 at Caddebostan Cultural Center with contributions from Istanbul's Kadıköy Municipality. As part of the festival, world-renowned flutist Jean Ferrandis will perform a flute recital. The musician will be accompanied by Qiaochu Li on piano. Ferrandis has an international career stretching from Europe to Asia and North America. He has performed chamber music in various recitals at prominent venues. Apart from these accomplishments, he has received invitations to perform at various festivals, including Lanaudière in Canada, the Sion Festival in Switzerland and the Berlioz Festival in Lyon, France. He has conducted the Saint Petersburg Camerata in Russia and the Saint Christopher Chamber Orchestra and Vilnius in Lithuania.
