Award-wining director Woody Allen's latest film "Cafe Society" will premiere in Turkey on Aug. 9 at Rexx Cinema in Kadıköy thanks to initiatives by the Istanbul Film Festival and Bir Film. "Café Society," which was the opening film at the Cannes Film Festival in 2016, stars Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, Blake Lively, Parker Posey, Steve Carell, Corel Stoll and Sheryl Lee in the leading roles. Set in New York and Hollywood in the 1930s, the film is about the adventures of Bobby Dorfman, who was the youngest son of a jewelry dealer in the Bronx. When Bobby gets bored of his father's shop, he travels to Hollywood to spend time with his uncle Phil. Bobby, who begins working for Phil who is a manager of popular Hollywood film stars, transforms into a different man experiencing love and hate in a world filled with Hollywood scandal, gossip and beautiful women.
