Prominent chamber music names to pay a visit to Turkey


Istanbul's highly anticipated Opus Amadeus Chamber Music Festival is celebrating its fifth year. The festival is set to take place from Feb. 11 to March 2 at various venues all over Istanbul. So far, the festival has brought many accomplished musicians and ensembles from Europe, the Americas, Japan and Turkey together. The festival, which previously hosted the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Romain Leleu, Özgür Aydın, Aura Musicale, Quintetto Bottesini, Corelli Consort, Marta Gulyas, Muhiddin Dürrüoğlu, Özcan Ulucan, Bülent Evcil, Arkas Trio, Wolfgang Bankl, Nusret İspir, CSO Cello Quartet, Ghislain Leroy, Birsen Ulucan, Çağatay Akyol, Ellen Jewett, Gökhan Aybulus, Ulrich Mertin, Özgür Ünaldı, Nino Rota Ensemble, Atilla Aldemir, Ozan Tunca, Ankara Philharmonic Orchestra and many more, aims to open the undiscovered paths of chamber music this year as well. The Opus Amadeus Chamber Music Festival, which has been sharing its passion for chamber music and its energy with Istanbulites for five years, will continue to bring prominent figures from chamber music from around the world on stage as part of its newest edition.
