The Samsun State Opera and Ballet (SAMDOB) will take the stage to present the "Tosca" opera to art lovers. Lorenzo Castriota takes over the conductorship in the Samsun production of the Tosca opera, a renowned work by Italian composer Giacomo Puccini. Directed by Haldun Özörten, Tosca's set design is created by Nurat Kahraman, while the costume design belongs to Nursun Ünlü. Oğuz Murat Yilmaz conducts the lighting design of the opera led by Mikhail Iskrov as the choir master. The events in the "Tosca," which follows the story of Cavaradossi and Angelotti in the historical and political background of Rome during Napoleon's time, are told from the heartBaron Scarpia, who uses the political power in his hand in order to win over Tosca, the libertarian painter Cavarodossi, who has a revolutionary spirit and is in love with Tosca, the singer Tosca, who keeps love above all else, even herself, and the heavy price paid by each one, come to life with dramatic tension in the opera.
