The Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra and Borusan Quartet are back with a colorful and a full program in the 2016-2017 season, hosting Gabriela Montero. Montero is described as an artist whose "skills exceed the borders of genius," thanks to the distinguished expression she adds to the songs she performs. Just last season Montero met with widespread approval at leading performance halls and stages including the Kennedy Center, Wigmore Hall, Vienna Konzerthaus, Leipzig Gewandhaus and Salzburg Festival.With her latest album, which includes her version of Rahmaninov's 2nd Piano Concerto as well as her own songs, Montero won the Latin Grammy's and she will be performing a concerto presented as a gift to the piano repertoire of Tchaikovsky, another Russian composer.When: TomorrowWhere: Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Congress Hall
