The entertaining opera by Italian composer Gaetano Donizetti's "Viva la Mamma" will be re-staged by the Antalya State Opera and Ballet today to kick off the new season.

The opera is about what went down back stage at "Romolus and Ersilia," which is about to make its world premiere at the Rimini Theater - in other words, about the preparation of the opera. So it's a "play within a play."

The main character Corilla Santinechi is played by Aslı Ayan, Stefano by Onur Alpaslan, Luigia Boschi by Serap Demirhan Işık, Agata by Umut Tarık Akça, Dorotea Caccini by Gülçin Gültekin, Guglielmo Antolstoinolonoff by Devrim Demirel, Vincenzo Biscroma by Mehmet Ali Tutar, Orazio Prospero by Baturalp Bilgili and Impresario by Toygarhan Atuner.When: TodayWhere: Antalya State Opera Stage
