Ballet collage featured in Kadıköy


The Istanbul State Opera and Ballet will welcome spring with "Lied Und Lieb - 3 Loves - 4 seasons" ballet, which will make its premiere on April 29 as part of the International Dance Day. According to the statement released by the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet, neoclassical - modern ballet works that express many aspects of life - will premiere at Kadıköy Municipality Süreyya Opera Theater on Saturday, April 29. The work will also be performed on May 2, 3, 5, 9, 11 and 13. The night will start with David Sonnenbluck's neoclassical pas de deux "Lied Und Lieb" with music by Richard Strauss from his "Four Last Songs: Beim Schlafengehen" choreographed by the artist in Brussels. Sonnenbluck's neoclassical choreography, Tchaikovsky's music "3 Loves" and Uğur Seyrek's modern choreography is the new ballet piece for Istanbul State Opera and Ballet with "Four Seasons" by Vivaldi.

For "Lied Und Lieb", Melike Koper and Oliver Spence, Zeynep Serpen and Batu Büklü, Maia Ito and Alican Güçoğlu will dance alternately. "3 Loves" will star Melike Koper and Gizem A. Tuncay as "Golden Lady", Gizem A. Tuncay and Melih Mertel, Julia Hartman and Olcay Tunçeli, Berfu Elmas and Çağatay Ozmen as "Green", Deniz Kılınç and Batur Büklü, Zeynep Serpen and Mehmet N. Arkan, Asena Ökte and Can Bezirganoglu as "Red", İlke Kodal and Mehmet N. Arkan, Melike Koper and Oliver Spence, Zeynep Serpen and Mutlu Cankup as "Blue," and Berfu Elmas and Deniz Özaydın, Maia Ito and Alican Güçoğlu as "Ecru" alternately. "Four Seasons" will also star Gizem A.
