Thomas Hoepker's photos exhibited in Istanbul


Leica Gallery Istanbul hosts the first personal exhibition by Thomas Hoepker, the first Magnum photographer, who went to East Berlin and took photos of boxer Muhammad Ali in 1966.

The personal exhibition titled "Sudden Glory" by Hoepker, who was awarded as place in the Leica Hall of Fame thanks to his photos taken on Sept. 11, 2001, is open to visit at the Leica Gallery at Bomontiada until June 3. The exhibition anthology consists of the photos of Muhammad Ali taken in 1966, as well as the historic photos of the Sept. 11 attacks and Hopeker's works on politics and daily issues.
