Gallery hosts students' graphic design utopias

The creations are being exhibited under the scope of the "Graduation 2017" project. Istanbul Aydın University's art gallery, Gallery Aydın, will host the students' dissertation projects until June 16. As part of the "Graduation 2017" project, conducted by Kaya Tabanlı, an instructor at the Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Design Department, students were asked to create scenarios about self-created utopias.By using these unique ideas, students designed posters, logos, characters, spatial creations, models and products compatible with the discipline of graphic design. As part of the project, products were designed to be compatible with the creator's utopian world, its characteristics, humanitarian needs and habits. In this context, students were expected to develop innovative graphic solutions, improve their relationship with the materials, constitute awareness of form and to gain practical experience with graphic design applications for future careers. The exhibition consisting of the design students' dissertation works created with three dimensional and computer-aided technologies is now open at Gallery Aydın.
