Weekend full of music at Babylon


Radio Eksen DJs will meet be spinning Indie rock, ska, punk and hip-hop on Saturday, Aug. 4, at 11.30 p.m. for the Midnight Session, guaranteeing to keep dancers on the floor. Jakuzi, founded by Kutay Soyocak and Taner Yücel, will be on the stage in Babylon on Saturday, Aug. 5, at 9:30 p.m. and also at Bomontiada Quad Events. Releasing their first album "Fantezi Müzik" as an audio tape on Domuz Records, the band rereleased this album with four new songs as a CD and digital format in March 2017, after getting together with Berlin recording company City Slang.

Elektro Hafız will be a guest at the Midnight Session in Babylon on Saturday, Aug. 5. Grup Ses will perform both before and afterward. Performing mostly in Germany, Elektro Hafız is known for his records blending psychedelic and Anatolian sounds. He released his first album on Spanish record label Guerssen as an LP and he also worked with different artists from Kenya, France, Turkey, Switzerland, Australia and Germany.

Performing with several figures in the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Poland, Grup Ses blends '70s Turkish funk with hip hop. Tickets for the Midnight Session at Babylon can be bought through Mobilet iOS and Android applications.
