Can Tutuğ Quartet will perform at Nardis Jazz Club on Wednesday night, Sept. 13. Tutuğ has a quite impressive musical background. He played vibraphone with Amy Salsgiver at Istanbul Technical University in 2013 and focused on jazz harmony and improvisation with Tony Miceli's lectures. . He worked as a soloist for Trakya Academy Chamber Orchestra. Winning the "Youth Jazz" competition of the 22nd International Istanbul Jazz Festival with his jazz band named "The Cold Vibes," he took part in the "Jazz in Parks" event of the festival. He continued to take the stage at the International Istanbul Jazz Festival in the later years.

He gained the opportunity of receiving gamelan training in Indonesia for three months after winning the Indonesian Art and Culture Scholarship Guidance Project in 2017. In the same year, he gave a concert open to the public with a repertoire comprising of Thelonious Monk compositions at the International Jazz Day on Apr. 30 in memory of Thelonious Monk's 100th birthday. Can Tutuğ Quartet is comprised of four musicians who progress in a specific jazz route and diversify their music with their productions.
