Celebrating European Day of Languages

Foreign languages open new doors for us. It is never too late to learn a new language and utilize its opportunities. Cultural institutes and consulates representing 12 European countries will educate visitors at the Istanbul Congress Center on Oct. 28 to celebrate European Day of Languages as a part the International Education Fairs of Turkey's (IEFT) 32nd International Education Fair.

Events will include entertaining language activities, the plays "Speak-Dating" and the "Tower of Babel," exciting "European Treasure Hunt" and the "European Language Quiz" competitions, surprise gifts and fun prizes, including European language courses. Participants can also learn about the countries, languages and cultures featured at the stands of the 12 European countries throughout the event.

Come and see just how much you actually know about foreign cultures, words and languages, and discover your hidden love for all things European. This year's event is being sponsored by the IEFT under the auspices of the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) Turkey and with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey.
