Vancouver Film School to meet Bahçeşehir University students


Successful figures in the movie sector, such as Jennifer Clement, Bob Woolsey and Michael Baser, will be at Bahçeşehir University (BAU) today and tomorrow to train students. The two-day event will take place at BAU'S Faculty of Communications located on the Galata campus. Starting first with acting, the program will continue with scenario and production lessons. Scenarist Michael Baser, head of the Department of Acting at the Vancouver Film School Jennifer Clement and Vancouver Film School Academic Bob Woolsey will provide training to the students that will include shooting short films.

Clement, who has been working in the film, TV and theater sector for over 30 years in Canada and the U.S., has been featured in series, such as "Intelligence." She is best known for her successful work in series such as "Fido," "Waydowntown," "Supernatural" and "Da Vinci's Inquest." Woolsey, on the other hand, has directed and produced many short films and was nominated for "Best Series" at the 2011 Leo Awards for his semi-autobiographical web series "Bob & Andrew."

He is also a successful writer, having written "Charlotte's Songs." In the screenwriting classes, Baser, who has worked at several companies, such as Universal Pictures, Columbia TriStar, Disney and Warner Brothers, will train students. He has also worked on many important film projects for CBS, ABC, NBC and Fox.
