Dolce & Gabbana launches first collection for Muslim women

After Swedish retailer Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) introduced a Muslim model wearing the headscarf in its fall campaign in October, Italian designer label Dolce and Gabbana recently launched its first abaya (a full-length one-piece outer garment) and hijab collection, aimed to attract Muslim women. The collection features "neutral hues - luxe black and sandy beige - while a sprinkling of abayas capture the Sicilian spirit of the house with printed daisies, lemons, and lush red roses," Style.com/Arabia reported. The headscarves were made of weave charmeuse fabrics, including copious lace details along hems. The newest collection's photos are available on the Style.com/Arabia website.
