The AYMOD International Footwear Fashion Fair will arrive in Istanbul for the 58th time to present the latest footwear trends of 2018 between Oct. 4 and 7.

The fair, which will take place at CNR EXPO in Yeşilköy, Istanbul, will be set in a 60,000-square-meter space. Hundreds of buyers from 60 different countries will come to Istanbul to evaluate the brands' spring-summer 2018 collections. The organizers expect 20,000 visitors during the four-day fair.

As a part of the "masters" project, traditional folding boots, Bodrum sandals, moccasins and "yemeni," traditional Anatolian footwear designed by the master footwear makers of Anatolia, will be displayed in the "AYMOD Trend" zone at the fair.

Within the scope of the "7 Regions 7 Shoes" project, traditional footwear representing the different cultures of seven geographic regions of Turkey will be at the fair to promote the history of Turkish footwear production.

The beginnings of footwear mass production will be displayed for visitors through an exhibition of photos borrowed from the archives of Sümerbank.
