Turkish designer to participate in London Fashion Week


Turkish designer Zeynep Kartal who has made a name for herself recently will showcase her latest collection which focuses on Turkey's cultural heritage on Feb. 21, during London Fashion Week.Expressing her excitement to become a part of the prestigious London Fashion Week, Kartal said, "I put a great deal of affection on this exclusive collection." Within the scope of the fashion week, Kartal will also host many known figures from Turkey. The Turkish designer will display the Anatolian Seljuk State Collection which will make its Turkish debut on Apr. 8 with the organization of Dedeman Hotels during the fashion week in London. Kartal's collection features 30 exclusive pieces reflecting the Anatolian Seljuk style. The designer said that a country's international promotion activities bring prestige to that country. "I decided to create this collection with Mediyadoktoru Production and producer Savaş Uğurlu out of Social responsibility," Kartal went on. According to her, the aim of the fashion show is to contribute to Turkey's cultural heritage as well as promote the country to the world. "We want to draw attention to Turkey's cultural history," Kartal concluded.
