Stressed is desserts spelled backwards, visit Sweet Fest in Istanbul to cheer up


The second edition of the "TatlıFest," or the Sweet Festival, is set to kick off on May 5 at Küçük Çiftlik Park in Istanbul.

Organized by the Chefs Federation of Turkey and the World Association of Chefs, the sweetest event of the year will bring Turkish and international pastry chefs together and put hundreds of sweets on display for visitors to taste.

The festival which will host more than 40 candy and pastry brands is to feature modern and traditional sweets as well as candies, ice creams, cakes and sherbets.

For three days, visitors will be able to attend seminars and workshops and learn to make and bake their favorite cakes and sweets. Throughout the festival, live concerts and DJ performances will also allow visitors to dance all day and burn the calories that they take with all the sweets they taste.
