Turks follow organic food trend during summer time

It is a fact that organic food is becoming more popular and Turks are shown to prefer it. Data released by Tazedirekt, a Turkey-based online shopping brand supplying consumers with fresh, organic and additive-free food from their source, shows that Turks prefer organic milk, eggs and yogurt, along with sourdough, buckwheat and siyez bread (made of siyez wheat which is referred to as the ancestor of all wheat), dried nuts and fruits, milk jam and asparagus during the summer time.

Organic food, which cannot be found easily in supermarkets, and special, handmade and traditional products are becoming more popular in Turkey.
