Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray continue to sign players just one day before the deadline after they saw important deficiencies in their squad after two weeks of the new Spor Toto Super League season. Senegalese striker Moussa Sow, who was sold by Fenerbahçe to Dubai's Al Ahli for $16 million in the 2015-16 season, has returned to his former club. Sow scored 51 goals and made 17 assists in 106 matches when he played for Fenerbahçe. The Yellow Canaries also signed Dutch midfielder Jeremain Lens from Sunderland. Lens told Fox Sport: "Sunderland would just love to get rid of me." The 28-year-old Dutch winger is set to team up with Dick Advocaat again at Fenerbahçe, joining on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent deal."It's a nice transfer. Fenerbahçe is a great club and a great challenge." Lens, who signed a four-year deal last summer, will now team up again with Advocaat, who had previously worked with him at PSV Eindhoven. "I have a good relationship with Dick, but he also knows my qualities. It is not that he is doing me a favor," added Lens, who hopes to force his way back into the national side. He added: "This is perhaps for the purpose of [playing for] Holland again. I will go to Fenerbahçe if there is the chance to get more playing time. I did not find it strange that I was omitted from the last couple of national squads. It was understandable because I was not playing."Fenerbahçe's archrivals Galatasaray transferred Icelandic player Kolbeinn Sigthorsson on loan from Nantes for one year. The Lions also added Nigel de Jong from LA Galaxy and Jason Denayer from Manchester City to their squad. Belgium defender Denayer spent last season on loan at the Turkish club. The 21-year-old fell down the pecking order at City under new boss Pep Guardiola. However, the most flashy transfer was made by Turkish minnows Alanyaspor. The newly promoted Antalya team agreed to sign Brazilian striker Vagner Love on Tuesday.
