Fenerbahçe will head to Skopje to face Macedonia's Vardar at II. Phillip Arena in a much anticipated UEFA Europa League playoff battle. The clash, set to take place at 9 p.m., will be refereed by Luca Banti.

Fenerbahçe eliminated Austria's Sturm Graz in the third qualifying round to reach the playoffs. Vardar finished champion the last three seasons in Macedonia's top division and eliminated Malmö in the second qualifying stage and Copenhagen in the third qualifying stage.

Considering Volkan Demirel's poor recent performances, Fenerbahçe coach Aykut Kocaman is expected to prefer new signing Carlos Kameni in goal.
