Istanbul heavyweights Fenerbahçe bid farewell to UEFA Europa League late Thursday, losing 2-1 to Macedonia's Vardar.Vardar had a decisive win against the yellow canaries in the second match of the Europa League qualifying round.The Macedonian club advanced to the group stage thanks to a 4-1 win.

Vardar had also beaten Fenerbahçe in the first leg in Macedonia 2-0.
