Fenerbahçe offers Tufan in exchange for Mor

Fenerbahçe is reportedly planning to offer midfielder Ozan Tufan to Celta Vigo in exchange for the Spanish side's Emre Mor. The Yellow Canaries are looking to offload Tufan without losing money but also want to prevent local archrivals, Galatasaray and Beşiktaş from signing him.

Earlier, Fenerbahçe had offered Tufan to Bursaspor in exchange for Aziz Behiç. Reports claimed that Celta Vigo was requested to exchange the players for one-and-a-half years.

The Fenerbahçe administration believes that both players needed a second chance to reach their peak performances and the deal would give them that opportunity. Meanwhile, Fenerbahçe's Robin van Persie is heading home to rejoin his boyhood club Feyenoord and is expected to undergo medical at the weakened, Dutch media reported. The 34-year-old former Arsenal captain and ex-Manchester United star are still under contract with Fenerbahçe. He was recalled to the Dutch national team in August, even though he had not donned the Dutch jersey since 2015. But he suffered a knee injury after his surprise international return which has kept him off the field for the Istanbul club since.

Once named as the Dutch Football Association's young talent of the year, Van Persie remains the country's top, all-time scorer having scored 50 goals in 102 internationals.

After starting out with Excelsior, he made his debut for Feyenoord in 2002, before transferring to Arsenal in 2004, eventually becoming captain in 2011-2012. He transferred to Manchester United in August 2012 for a fee of over 27 million pounds.

He moved to Fenerbahçe in July 2015 but failed to satisfy Fenerbahçe fans with his performance. This season, Van Persie is yet to score a single goal - albeit having only made four appearances.

Van Persie suffered a knee injury in September but, since returning in November, has not been selected by his manager, Aykut Kocaman, who continues to overlook him.

The former Premier League star currently finds himself behind Tottenham loanee Vincent Janssen and ex-Spurs flop Roberto Soldado in the pecking order at the Şükrü Saraçoğlu Stadium.
