Dutch forward Robin van Persie formally announced Friday he has transferred from Fenerbahçe to his home country's league club Feyenoord.

The announcement of the transfer was made through a video shared on the Dutch club's official Twitter account.

The 34-year-old star will go to Rotterdam on Monday to sign the official contract.

No information about contract details was shared by Feyenoord.

Van Persie started his career with Feyenoord from 2001-2004, going on to play for Arsenal, Manchester United and, most recently, Fenerbahçe in 2015.
