Super League champion Beşiktaş is expected to sign Vagner Love from Aytemiz Alanyaspor after the Istanbul team sold its star striker Cenk Tosun to Everton in the January transfer window.

The Brazilian striker, who scored 34 goals in 44 games for Alanyaspor, will reportedly move to Beşiktaş on a one-and-a-half-year contract with an optional one-year extension, which could be activated should he play more than 25 games for the club.

The Black Eagles will pay around 3.7 million euros for Love, with 2.525 million euros being paid in wages across the next one-and-a-half years, according to goal.com.

Love, who traveled to Istanbul yesterday, said, "I am going to the biggest club in Turkey. In my career, I have seven important titles. My aim is to increase this number in Beşiktaş."

Vagner Love started his career with Brazilian club Palmeiras. In 2003, he helped his side return to the Serie A, the nation's top-flight.

Then, he played for several clubs including CSKA Moscow, Palmeiras, Flamengo, Shandong Luneng, Corinthians, and Monaco.

Love scored four goals in 20 games for the Brazil national team, winning the Copa America in 2004 and 2007.
