Beşiktaş defeated Gençlerbirliği 1-0 in Ankara's 19 Mayis Stadium Tuesday to reach the last four of the Ziraat Turkish Cup.

Having won the first leg 3-1 at home, Beşiktaş played some calm and collected football throughout the game, especially after finding the leading goal in the 25th minute through striker Mustafa Pektemek.

The quarterfinal second leg actions continue today with Konyaspor and Galatasaray looking to grab the last semifinal spot.
