Hydration bracelets alert users to drink water regularly

Everybody knows the importance of daily hydration. Experts advise people to drink at least 2 liters of water every day. Of course, the amount of water that one should consume every day changes according to where one falls on the body mass index. For instance, the amount of water that an overweight person should drink is much more than a thin person. In order to eliminate this uncertainty about the amount of water we should drink regularly, American scientists developed a new smart bracelet called BSX Athletics. The bracelet features six functions and calculates the amount of water you should drink, when you need to consume water, checks the pulse, regulates sleep , counts calories and counts steps during a day. Moreover, users are able to monitor the data about their bodies on their smartphone thanks to an app developed specifically for the bracelet. The bracelet, which was developed as a Kickstarter project, received $430,000 in donations in the first three days of the campaign. The hydration bracelet is planned to be sold for $99 and $499.
