Man can't sleep anywhere but in a moving car

Nazmi Erol, 80, has been suffering from insomnia for over a year. Almost a year ago, he came to Istanbul to live with his son, but since he came, he has not been able to sleep in the house.

Despite everything his son did to make him comfortable, the old man seemed to have a problem sleeping at night.

His son, who works as a driver for a shuttle, recently discovered that his father falls asleep while he accompanies him during his shift. So, Erol's son decided to take his father wherever he goes to let him sleep.

"I am 80 years old and I have a sleeping disorder. I can only sleep well in a moving car. There is something wrong with the house. I have not been able to sleep in the house for almost a year. While my son drives around his car and picks up people, I accompany him and sleep in the car," said Nazmi Erol.

Bülent Erol, the son of the old man, claims that his father walks around the house all night.

"I think he feels trapped in the house and feels uncomfortable. However, he sleeps like a baby in the car. Doctors cannot give us a solid answer about his condition," he said.

When Bülent Erol does not take his father with him, he said that his dad calls him on the phone all the time, urging his son to come and pick him up.

"He calls me like 40 times a day when he is not with me. While we are traveling all over Istanbul, he does not complain but when we get inside the house, he is not happy with anything," he added.
