Turkish police on Monday has detained 15 ISIS-linked suspects in an operation carried out in Ankara. According to reports, 500 police have participated in the operation which took place in the morning. 11 out of the 15 suspects are reportedly foreign nationals. Since Friday, Turkey has been carrying out airstrikes against IS targets in Syria and Kurdish rebel positions in northern Iraq. It has also arrested hundreds of people with suspected links to violent extremists.On Sunday, it called for a meeting of its NATO allies to discuss threats to its security, as well as its airstrikes.
