Three Iranian soldiers were detained by Turkish security forces on Tuesday in the Yüksekova district of eastern Hakkari Province.According to local sources, Turkish security forces on duty on the Iranian border detected that a group of 10 armed Iranian soldiers trespassed the border illegally. Noticing the Turkish security forces, seven of the Iranian soldiers fled back to Iranian territory while three failed to do so, being detained by Turkish security forces.The Iranian soldiers claimed that they trespassed the border to track fugitives.It was later stated by authorities that the soldiers will be extradited to Iran in accordance with the interstate extradition protocol between the Republic of Turkey and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
