A total of 20 suspects from Konya and 20 from Adana provinces have been detained in multiple operations carried out against the Daesh terror organization on Friday.

The anti-terror branch team of the Konya Provincial Security Directorate identified a group linked to the Daesh.

The team took action and detained 20 people in simultaneous operations carried out at different locations in the city center.

The anti-terror branch team of the Adana Police Department also organized simultaneous operations at dawn in Şakirpaşa and Gürselpaşa of the central district Seyhan and in Kiremithane, in Yüreğir district.

20 Daesh suspects, including women, were detained in that raid.

The suspects were brought to the Police Department for questioning after undergoing medical checks at the Forensic Medicine Unit of Adana.
