Chinese sex traffickers nabbed in Antalya


Turkish police detained four Chinese suspects in an operation against a prostitution ring in the southern city of Antalya Sunday.Suspects, including a woman, are accused of forcing four Thai women into prostitution.Suspects and their victims were found in a raid on a house in the city's Muratpaşa district after a one-month surveillance operation.The Thai women were handed to the migration authority, while the suspects were referred to court.Turkish media outlets reported that the gang persuaded the women to travel to Turkey, promising jobs as masseuses and restaurant workers.Once they traveled to Antalya, a popular Mediterranean resort city, victims were held hostage by the suspects who confiscated their passports to prevent their escape.
