Police in the northern city of Samsun detained nine Iraqi nationals for membership of the terrorist group Daesh.

Counterterrorism squads raided homes in central Samsun in the early hours of yesterday to capture the suspects.

Digital propaganda materials for the terrorist group was found in possession of the suspects, who are currently in police custody.
