A member of the Gülenist Terror Group (FETÖ) has confessed how the group used a program to obtain questions and answers for major exams, helping the group infiltrate the public sector.

Identified with his initials E.A., he invoked a remorse law that allows more lenient sentences for terror suspects cooperating with the authorities.

The suspect, a former employee at the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), the only authority responsible for organizing public exams in Turkey, said that Kazım Kargı, a fugitive developer who worked as a private contractor for ÖSYM, installed spyware in the ÖSYM servers and thus gained access to every exam papers kept in its secure servers.

He said that he was tasked with setting up a "virtual server" by his superiors in FETÖ. The server included software developed by Kargı and helped Gülenists copy questions and answers for different public exams.
