The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) deputy Sabahat Tuncel on Sunday threatened Turkey by saying that it will be a disaster for the country if the Dolmabahçe Agreement is not re-implemented, implying that the PKK terrorists may increase their attacks.Tuncel spoke at a press conference in Istanbul and commented on the elections and the Kurdish issue."The conflict (with the PKK terrorists) in Turkey will intensify if a return is not made to the Dolmabahçe Agreement," Tuncel said and added that this would mean a disaster for Turkey.She also said that the Kurds will continue to 'resist' while her audience frequently chanted in favor of the terrorist organization PKK and Abdullah Öcalan.The HDP Deputy claimed that the PKK's imprisoned leader Abdullah Öcalan is the 'most effective' person to resolve the issue, while she added that the HDP is the representative of the Kurds in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.The "Dolmabahçe Agreement" was shared with the public following the meeting between the pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) deputies and Deputy Prime Minister Yalçın Akdoğan at Istanbul's Dolmabahçe Palace on February 28. Ten points were declared as a roadmap for a final solution of Turkey's Kurdish issue and 30 year-old PKK armed insurgency.On November 4, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that the reconciliation process would be replaced by 'the National Unity and Brotherhood Process.'The PKK announced on July 11 that the cease-fire which was declared via a message from the PKK's imprisoned leader Abdullah Öcalan in 2013 has ended.Formed in 1978, the terrorist group has been fighting the Turkish government for an independent state until the early 2000's. The group then shifted its goal to autonomy in predominately Kurdish inhabited regions of Turkey.
