Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield to release full album recorded in space

Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield, who is behind the viral cover of David Bowie's Space Oddity, is planning to release the first album ever recorded in space.Hadfield's album will include vocal tracks and guitar parts recorded during his time in space, the Guardian reported.Warner Music Canada also confirmed on Tuesday the release of the album.Hadfield, 55, said: "The serenity and grace I felt while orbiting our Earth, weightless by the window, gave a whole new place to write and perform music. I'm delighted to be able to share these completed works as a new way to help tell the stories of early space exploration."Hadfield was aboard the International Space Station during a five-month period that ended in May 2013. He retired in July of that year. While parts of the album were recorded in space, producer Robbie Lackrtiz worked on them back here on earth.
